Horse ball for horse training. This huge, green, 44 inch horse ball can assist you during ground work to desensitise your horse to objects moving around him.
Gradually after being allowed to approach the ball in his own time in a safe and controlled environment the horses confidence should improve as he becomes braver and more accustomed to the ball.
Many horses experience anxiety when faced with objects which move quickly around them causing them to shy or worse still bolt which can result in an accident for the handler or rider. The horse training ball enables you to work on building the horses confidence somewhere safe!
The horse will gradually become more confident as he gets used to things moving infront, to the side and behind. Eventually you should be able to roll the ball against the horse. The horse may want t push the ball or play with it.
How long it takes for the horse to get used to the ball will vary from horse to horse with some horses it may take weeks but it is well worth the effort.
If you have a confident horse you might find find they want to chase it around the arena themselves! Confident horses can have alot of fun with the ball.
Some stallions really love the ball and may not want you to take it back!!!
